Tuition
I provide maths tuition in and around the Preston and Longridge areas. I usually travel to the pupil's home but am very willing for pupils to come to my home if this is more convenient.
I plan the tuition around the individual students needs - trying to identify areas of poor understanding and move on from there. GCE students often have a very clear idea of the support they require and I will happily fit in with this. Younger pupils tend to be a bit less focussed initially and so I use appropriate material to establish the main areas of need.
As exams approach there is no real substitute for practice papers which I can readily obtain for Key stages 2 and3, GCSE and GCE levels.
Most of my students have weekly hourly sessions at their own home, but there is no commitment to more than the next lesson.
